ENGAGEMENT IN THE TIME OF COVID-19 DISCUSSION SERIES
Session #2 - how do we connect with people who aren’t online and/or groups that are ‘hard to reach’?
Join us on Friday 17 April as we dive into the second session in our brand new, free discussion series.
More than 80 people from across Australia and representing multiple industries and levels of government connected for our first ever session, as we tackled the dilemma of connecting with communities during COVID-19 without appearing ‘tone-deaf’. There’s never been a more important time for us to come together, share and learn, and we were absolutely blown away by the response!
Much more than your standard ‘webinar’, these interactive, facilitated sessions are a chance to connect with other communications, engagement, planning and project management leaders and professionals. Together, we’ll collaboratively explore current engagement challenges and opportunities, share resources and support you to meaningfully connect with your staff, stakeholders and communities during this uncertain time.
Registrations are now open for session two, and places are limited. See below for more information and a link to our registration page.
What we’ll explore in our second session
Based on your suggestions during session one, and reflecting on the engagement challenges you submitted to us, our second discussion will explore the challenge of how to connect with people who aren’t online and/or groups that are ‘hard to reach’.
During the conversation we’ll explore the following key questions:
Is anyone ‘beyond our reach’ in an online world, what barriers do they face and how to we overcome them?
Who is ‘hard to reach’, where can we find them online, and how do we include their voices and really hear them?
What are alternative ways to engage and build relationships with those who are not online when we can’t meet face to face?
Registrations now open

* Sessions are open to staff, managers and decision makers in organisations that are looking to host an engagement process (i.e. in the public and not-for-profit sectors). They are not designed for private sector consultants.
