Deliberation dictionary
As part of our commitment to increasing our own, and others’, knowledge around deliberative democracy we decided to pull together a list of commonly used terms in this field. This led us to the development of the inaugural Deliberation Dictionary!
what is it?
This dictionary is not exhaustive – there are even some letters without words! Instead, it’s a good place to start assembling the technical terms mainly used in this field.
We hope to build on this base over the coming months and years and provide this central reference as a ‘go to’ for people who are working in, or are new to, this type of work.
GOT A WORD TO ADD?
We’re keen to see the Deliberation Dictionary grow with input from our knowledgeable industry colleagues and friends in the field.
Please let us know in the comments below, or on social media, of any additional terms you would like to add to the dictionary.
