Virtual Facilitation & Technical Skills
In our current COVID-19 environment, facilitation looks very different to how it used to. This course covers the fundamentals of facilitation in both face to face and online environments, with critical aspects of design, planning and delivery covered. The virtual facilitation component will cover the skills you need online, as well as the technical skills to manage an online platform like zoom. You can choose from the following course dates:
Course 1: Wednesday 28 October, 8:30am - 1pm and Thursday 29 October, 8:30am - 1pm
Course 2: Thursday 26 November, 8:30am - 1pm and Friday 27 November, 8:30am - 1pm
a training course designed and tailored specifically for victorian councils
Deliberative Engagement for Victorian Councils
This training provides assistance and information to help councils better understand deliberative engagement, its principles and how it can be implemented into council processes. It is suitable for anyone with a role in relation to the deliberative engagement requirements of the new Local Government Act, including corporate planners, community engagement managers, finance managers, asset managers, and executives and councillors.
This is a full day online course. You can choose from the following course dates:
Course 1: Monday 5 October, 9am - 4pm
Course 2: Wednesday 4 November, 9am - 4pm
