2022 is the year of the MosaicLab book! The BIG BOOK of facilitating deliberation.
The three co-founders and directors of MosaicLab – Kimbra White, Nicole Hunter and Keith Greaves – have spent the past three years, in between designing and facilitating projects, writing Facilitating Deliberation – A Practical Guide.
While we’re sharing a sneaky little peek of the cover today, we can’t say too much at this stage about what’s in the book (it’s only just gone to the printers!).
What we can tell you though is that it’s filled with detailed, step-by-step advice on how to plan, design and deliver impactful deliberative engagement processes like community panels or citizens’ juries.
Large or small, face-to-face or online, this is a definitive guide to this very specialised form of facilitation.
WHY WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT IT
Many books have been written about deliberation; however, this one is different, taking you through every step of the facilitation role. The set-up, the planning, the delivery and, most importantly, the lessons learnt along the way.
We hope it will contribute to improving the practice, experience and impact of deliberation, both for sponsoring organisations and deliberating participants.
WHEN IS IT COMING OUT?
