Thanks to the pandemic, MosaicLab facilitators have had over 12 months of running online meetings and workshops, clocking over 300 online sessions!
We are now ‘masters of the breakout rooms’, and have become experts in both platforms (Zoom and MS Teams) and a range of collaborative tools (Menti, Groupmap, and Google docs/draw/sheets).
As a result, we now know what works and converts well in this medium and what it takes for people to have meaningful conversations and contributions online.
Even as we return to some face to face meetings, skills in managing online meetings remain essential as they will be with us for the long term.
Our training courses
MosaicLab shares our knowledge of the online meeting world with you through our Virtual Facilitation training course. The course involves a combination of:
live training sessions for learning and practice
homework to practice virtual meetings and technology with your colleagues (perhaps at your next team meeting) or community groups, and
a debrief session to capture and share learnings.
Sessions can be requested as half day and full day versions for in-house training. The longer the session the more practice time staff have to explore the technology.
Not surprisingly in the past 9 months, this has been our most popular course as people were feeling out of their depth in the online environment and needed a place to learn, observe, practice and reflect. We are told that participants are applying their skills instantly in their meetings.
