FOR KEITH, MOSAICLAB IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE
Keith co-founded MosaicLab because it provides the opportunity to work with other passionate facilitators, trial new techniques, share knowledge and enhance his personal and professional engagement knowledge.
KEITH BELIEVES
Keith is passionate about sharing individual learnings with his peers. He strongly believes that through sharing processes and techniques we can all benefit, and work together to help people have better conversations. He hopes to continue (and encourage others) to generously share learnings so that practitioners and others can work collectively to enhance the participation space.
KEITH IS KNOWN FOR
Keith is known for his sense of (sometimes wicked!) humour, energetic facilitation style and ability to light up a room with his infectious personality and positive vibe. He is excellent at finding interesting and engaging ways to involve people in conversations and decisions, and has an impressive talent for visually capturing data (Keith is an enthusiastic amateur graphics facilitator who is often seen flexing his drawing skills in session using flip charts and butchers paper).
KEITH KNEW THIS WAS HIS CALLING WHEN
As an Irishman, Keith knew that he had been genetically programmed to talk to and be with people. At 21 he realised there were real jobs which require this skill and began training as a Science in Society Facilitator at the Science Museum in London. He has never looked back.
Keith credits facilitator Viv McWaters for helping him find peace through the 80/20 rule and writer, editor, artist and engagement specialist Tamara Shardlow for giving him the sound advice to just be himself and follow his passion.
Keith met his single biggest influencer when he attended a course in 1995 run by one of the first Australians he had ever met. It was called, ‘Outing the Performer’ and he was introduced to the trainer, Andrea, a Science Circus Graduate. Fast forward a bit and in 2018 Keith and Andrea will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary together.
KEITH LOVES ...
Keith enjoys spending quality time with his family and going on camping trips with the campervan and his two dogs, Ernie and Pip.
SOMETHING YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT KEITH
Keith started his career at the Science Museum, London and started his exhibitions career at Euro Disney, Paris.
