Gus Richardson manages participant recruitment for MosaicLab’s community engagement projects, focusing on providing a detailed and relationship-based approach to participant service, and integrating best-practice research to assist project managers and clients in making practical and informed sortition decisions.

Gus has an acute understanding of sortition both in theory and practice. He has a Master of Political Science (Advanced) where his thesis examined deliberative democracy in modern technology societies. He was previously an intern at the NewDemocracy Foundation and Policy Officer for the Department of Workplace Relations (DEWR).

Outside of work, you’ll find Gus playing basketball, shooting the breeze with friends, or popping in for a quick session at the Nova cinema.
