Meet Polo Jimenez-Vasquez
FACILITATOR
and know that they are genuinely being heard.”
- Polo Jimenez-Vasquez
Guided by core values of authenticity, curiosity, fun, and respect, Polo approaches his work with a genuine passion for helping others feel valued and heard. He finds great fulfillment in facilitating conversations and processes that allow individuals and groups to express their views and contribute to decisions that impact them.
He has worked on a variety of electoral democracy-related projects at the Victorian Electoral Commission, primarily in outward-facing roles that required strong communication and engagement skills. Prior to this, Polo spent time in a customer service role, further developing his ability to connect with people in meaningful ways.
Outside of work, Polo is completing a Bachelor of Psychology and also enjoys a variety of activities that reflect his diverse interests. He is an avid reader of fiction, with a growing collection of books that he can’t seem to get through fast enough. Cooking is another passion, and he loves trying out new recipes. Polo also enjoys watching movies and exploring Melbourne’s vibrant and ever-evolving food scene.
Fun fact! Polo won a Game Boy in a drawing competition when he was in grade 1.
