Information for visitors to NWMPHN  



Getting to 737 Bourke Street

By train – Southern Cross Station (metropolitan and regional trains)


Option 1: Bourke Street/Docklands Stadium exit (350m)

  • Exit the station at the Bourke Street/Docklands Stadium end (via escalator or lift).

  • Turn left on the footbridge, veering left towards 717 Bourke Street (Channel 9 building).

  • Take the stairs or lift down to street level and continue down Bourke Street.

  • The entrance to 737 is on the far side of the ground level, next to The Hof Downtown.


Option 2: Collins Street exit (500m)

  • Exit the station at the Collins Street end (via escalator or lift).

  • Turn right on Collins Street and take the stairs next to 750 Collins Street (Monash College building) down to Village Street.

    • To avoid stairs, cross Collins Street and take the lift down to Village Street (lift is next to the entrance of 707 Collins Street). Alternatively, continue down Collins Street, turn right at

  • Batman’s Hill Drive and continue until you reach the entrance to 737 Bourke Street.

  • Continue down Village Street to Bourke Street. The entrance to 737 is on the far side of the ground level, next to The Hof Downtown.


By tram – Routes 11 and 48 (250m)

Option 1: Stop D15 Batman’s Hill/Collins Street

  • Take the stairs next to 750 Collins Street (Monash College building) down to Village Street. o Continue down Village Street to Bourke Street. The entrance to 737 is on the far side of the ground level, next to The Hof Downtown.

Option 2 (no stairs): Stop D16 Harbour Esplanade.

  • Turn left on Batman’s Hill Drive and continue until you reach the entrance to 737 Bourke Street.

  • Both tram stops are accessible, but please use the tramTRACKER app to find out if the next tram at your stop will be a low-floor tram (look for the wheelchair symbol).

By tram – Routes 70 and 75 (350m)

Stop D3 Docklands Stadium (Stadium Precinct/Bourke Street)

  • Walk south on Harbour Esplanade (away from the harbour/stadium).

  • Cross Bourke Street and turn left.

  • Cross Batman’s Hill Drive and you will be at the entrance to 737 Bourke Street.

  • This tram stop is accessible, but routes 70 and 75 do not usually use low-floor trams. Please use the tramTRACKER app to find out if the next tram at your stop will be a low-floor tram (look for the wheelchair symbol).


By bus – Route 232 Altona North-City (250m)

  • Stop Collins Square/Collins Street (250m)

  • Walk 50m back down Collins Street, turn right on Batman’s Hill Drive.

  • Continue until you reach the entrance to 737 Bourke Street.


By bike

  • For visitors – public bike parking stands are located in Batman’s Hill Drive and Village Street.

  • For staff – secure bike parking is accessible via the car park on Fishplate Lane. Security card access needs to be requested for entry to the bike parking area.


By car

  • Most on-street parking in the immediate vicinity is limited to 2 hours or less and is metered all day Monday - Saturday. There are ticket machines, or you can use the EasyPark app to manage your parking and payments.

  • There are many secure parking garages in the area. Availability and rates vary depending on day and time of parking. Visit these websites for details: Care Park, Marvel Stadium, Secure Parking, Wilson Parking.

  • Please ensure you read all parking signage, rates, terms and conditions carefully. Parking is the responsibility of the individual and NWMPHN will not be responsible for any infringements incurred.


By ferry

  • Port Phillip Ferries runs passenger ferry services between Portarlington and Docklands (everyday) and Geelong and Docklands (weekends only). The ferry terminal is located at Victoria Harbour, 131 Harbour Esplanade. Tickets must be pre-purchased. Port Phillip Ferries is not a myki-ticketed service.

  • From the ferry terminal (450m):

    • Cross Harbour Esplanade towards the stadium and turn right.

    • Continue south on Harbour Esplanade (away from the harbour/stadium).

    • Cross Bourke Street and turn left.

    • Cross Batman’s Hill Drive and you will be at the entrance to 737 Bourke Street.


Building information

  • The 737 Bourke Street building is open 7:30am-6:00pm and the Concierge desk is staffed 8:00am-4:30pm.

  • For events outside these hours, a NWMPHN staff member will be available to provide entry.

  • NWMPHN is located on level 6 and can be accessed via the lifts at the rear of the foyer. Visit the Concierge desk if assistance is required.

  • 737 Bourke Street is wheelchair accessible.

  • An accessible, all-gender toilet is available on the ground floor and on level 6. Please note, ground floor bathrooms can only be accessed by request at the Concierge desk during staffed hours.

  • A prayer room and a parent room are available on level 6.
