“I love seeing processes in motion,
where people work towards making change in their lives that they didn’t think possible.”
- Jody Kingston

Jody is an integral part of the MosaicLab team, supporting our senior facilitators to do what they do best.

She can often be found working behind the scenes, preparing materials and supporting the team in delivery.

Variety and purpose drive Jody’s pursuit of professional life adventures. She has built up a mixed bag of diverse skills in her kit, having worked in arts administration, theatre, academia, education and health.

Prior to joining MosaicLab, Jody managed the Clown Doctor program across Victoria and Tasmania, as Program Manager for The Humour Foundation.

“I have always worked in purpose-led organisations,” Jody said.

“I love the variety in the role (at MosaicLab), working online and face to face, and the collaborative approach we take to getting things done. Wherever I can, I like to innovate and find elegant solutions to complex problems.”

Jody, a self-confessed lifelong learner, is currently studying a Master of Creative Arts Therapies.

She previously trained as a composer, following that path to complete a doctorate at QUT.

In her spare time, Jody loves hanging out with her daughter, playing games, dabbling in art and music-making or walking around the wetlands near her home with puppy Lucky.

You might not know this about Jody …
She has previously worked as a street performer and a bus driver (on separate occasions).

“I’m not the tallest person in the world, so in my interview for bus driving, the last question they asked was whether I could reach the pedals!”
